Some of my better finds.

I found this Barber in a yard about 3 inches deep. Gave a solid dime signal. It was my first ever Barber Dime


I fount this Barber and V Nickel in my hometown while there for a class reunion. One in a park and the other in a yard. It is my very first V Nickel.




This Barber Dime is the one I entered into the contest, found in a yard of an area that has been demolished.


This one is my very first Buffalo Nickel. I found it in a yard that was once part of the fairgrounds in the late 1800s. I can read the date of 1914 with the use of photoshop. It is a "D" mint mark. Found today.



As a youth I used a variety of metal detectors, but got away from the hobby as a young adult. Just this April I bought a DFX and these are a few of my best coin finds. There have been numerous tokens, relics and assorted cool junk found as well. The primary reason I got back into the hobby is to get some fresh air and exercise. I have done that and more. Thanks for looking and I hope to be able to show you some video one of these days.
